31st Street South Corridor Driveways in St. Petersburg

31st Street South runs through south-central St. Petersburg past small commercial parcels, mid-century houses, and later additions. A lot of the original drives are cracked concrete poured over mixed fill. Those slabs move independently of the house after a few wet summers.

PaverForge replaces and repairs drives on this corridor with an excavated section, crushed-concrete base, and interlocking pavers that can be lifted if a utility cut comes through later.

Corridor constraints

Parking is tight and many lots share a driveway throat with a neighbor. We set work hours, pallet placement, and saw-cut dust control so the street stays passable. Where a commercial dumpster pad or side-yard parking pad is part of the same job, we spec thickness for the actual load, not a patio section.

Drainage on 31st Street South often fights a shallow swale and an old sidewalk that sits higher than the lot. We match the garage threshold, then pitch the field to a defined low point instead of hoping the existing slab low spot still works after tear-out.

Photos of the slab, the sidewalk joint, and any ponding after rain are enough for a first pass. PaverForge Hardscapes, St. Pete Beach. 727-490-9798.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
