36th Avenue South St. Pete Paver Walks
36th Avenue South is a quieter Lakewood cross street, with cottages set close to the sidewalk and walks that double as the only path from the curb to the porch. Many of those walks were 3-foot concrete ribbons that have cracked at the property line.
Walks, not just driveways
On a narrow lot the walk is the job. We keep the width the porch already expects, drop a compacted base under the new pavers, and pitch the field toward the parkway instead of the stem wall. A soldier course at the porch keeps the cut clean when the house slab is higher than the yard.
Where a short driveway shares the same apron, both fields are built in one base so the joint between walk and drive does not become the next low spot. Irrigation heads in the parkway are marked before excavation.
Scheduling
Send photos of the walk, the porch step, and the sidewalk to PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798, or use book-online. We typically reply the same business day.
