37th Avenue South St. Pete Paver Walks
37th Avenue South sits south of the Lakewood commercial strip, with single-family lots, older walks, and side yards that pond against the house after a hard rain. PaverForge Hardscapes replaces those walks and tight side-yard paths in pavers so water leaves the slab instead of sitting on it.
Why these walks fail first
The original concrete walk was often poured tight to the house and the AC pad. When the sand under it washes, the walk drops and the splash stays against the stucco. A pretty border will not fix that. We open the failed walk, rebuild the base, and pitch the new field toward the yard or a drain that already works.
Side yards on this block are staging lanes for trash carts, meters, and the pool-equipment gate. The paver path has to stay wide enough for a cart and still leave a clean edge at the fence.
What we set
Walks get a restrained edge, a compacted base sized for foot traffic and the occasional cart, and joint sand that locks after compaction. Where the path crosses a downspout discharge, we leave a splash pad or a pop-up emitter ring so the roof water does not mine the bedding sand.
If the front walk meets a city sidewalk, we stop at the property line and match the existing elevation instead of bridging onto the public walk.
