457th Street North Palm Harbor Paver Walkways

The front walk on 457th Street North is the piece guests actually use: mailbox, sidewalk, and porch. It is also the piece that ponds when it is set as a flat ribbon between two higher edges.

Meet the public walk

Where a sidewalk exists, we meet its elevation and cross-slope instead of creating a lip. The private walk then rises only as the porch requires, with landings that do not hold water. Irrigation heads that currently spray the concrete get moved or shielded so the joints stay filled.

Material

A front walk is a patio load, so 60mm pavers are honest if the base is real. We still compact aggregate, set edge restraint, and leave joints that can be re-sanded. Color is the last decision, after pitch and the porch step are settled.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
