4th Avenue South St. Pete Paver Drives

4th Avenue South runs through the Old Southeast and the blocks east of 4th Street, where some frontages still meet brick and many garage slabs were poured decades ago. PaverForge Hardscapes rebuilds those drives so the apron meets the street cleanly and the field does not dam water at the garage.

Brick frontage and a tight apron

Where 4th Avenue South is still brick, the apron has to stop at a maintainable edge. We do not pave over the public brick. The private field gets an 80mm paver, a compacted base, and a soldier or Belgian-block edge that can be lifted if the city resets the street.

Alley-loaded lots on the nearby grid are a different job: the drive may be a short pad off the alley, with a drainage swale that already belongs to the block. We pitch to that swale instead of inventing a new low spot.

Utilities on a short drive

Water meters, sewer cleanouts, and the occasional gas stub sit in these aprons. Each gets a flush ring or a removable paver pocket so a utility crew can open the lid without breaking the field. Irrigation crossings are sleeved before the base goes down.

Historic-district color review, where it applies, is a finish choice. The base and the drainage are not optional either way.

How to start

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
