50th Avenue North St. Pete Walkways

50th Avenue North walkways run from a lifted city sidewalk to a porch that was poured decades ago. The path is narrow, the parkway oaks heave the edge, and joint sand washes into the gutter after every hard rain.

PaverForge Hardscapes rebuilds those walkways so the field stays locked. Call 727-490-9798 or book at paverforge.com/book-online.

Where the walk fails

The first two courses at the sidewalk take the foot traffic and the irrigation. The last two at the porch take the downspout. Both ends sink if the base was never compacted.

  • Match the sidewalk elevation instead of burying the city joint

  • Pitch the run to the yard or the street, not onto the porch

  • Open root heave and reset the edge restraint

  • Polymeric joint sand only after the field is compacted

How to start

A photo from the sidewalk and one from the porch is enough to see the pitch. We walk it before we quote. See the 45th Avenue North apron note for the same sidewalk problem one block south.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
