56th Avenue North St. Pete Aprons

56th Avenue North sits at the north end of the Fossil Park grid in St. Petersburg, closer to the Walter Fuller edge, with aprons that take a harder turn off a busier east-west street.

PaverForge Hardscapes rebuilds paver driveway aprons here when the city sidewalk has been ground, the flare has cracked, or the first courses have settled below the gutter line.

Apron loads on 56th Avenue North

These throats see more turning traffic than a cul-de-sac. A patio-spec field at the street will rut. We use 80mm driveway pavers in the vehicle path, a soldier border that can be lifted if the sidewalk is replaced, and a pitch that still sheets to the street after the car has parked.

The garage-slab lip is measured first. The finished paver elevation has to clear the bumper and still stay below a positive drain line so stormwater does not sit at the sidewalk joint.

What the quote includes

  • Saw-cut limits marked so the neighbor's flare is not touched.

  • Base rebuilt where the old concrete was set on sand.

  • Edge restraint pinned, not spiked into a soft shoulder.

  • Joint sand locked after compaction, not left loose for the first storm.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
