58th Street North Corridor Driveways in Pinellas Park and West St. Pete
58th Street North is a working corridor: body shops, churches, duplexes, and 1950s ranches sharing aprons that were poured when the road was quieter. Those aprons now take delivery vans, boat trailers, and weekend parking that the original four-inch slab never saw. PaverForge Hardscapes rebuilds the private side of that frontage — the driveway, the pad beside the bay door, and the walk that has to meet the public sidewalk at a legal slope.
Corridor lots have two owners in one apron
The city or county owns the sidewalk and often a strip of the approach. The property owner owns everything behind the right-of-way. We survey that line before we cut. A pretty paver field that buries a sidewalk joint or changes the public slope is a failed inspection, not a finished job. On 58th Street that line is often hidden under a later asphalt overlay, so we expose it and photograph it for the file.
What we spec on a mixed-use rebuild
80mm pavers in the vehicle path. A thickened base under the dumpster or parts-delivery corner. A trench drain or garage-threshold detail where the slab meets the new field so wash-water does not run into the bay. Detectable-warning plates only where the commercial entry is required to have them. Residential sides get a quieter pattern and a border that hides tire scuffs from street parking.
Right-of-way photos and a clean public-to-private joint
Small-commercial pads that can take a box-truck wheel load
Compact-lot side-yard staging so the corridor stays open
Utility-cut restoration that matches the existing field
Permits and inspection packets when the city asks for them
Send the address and two photos
PaverForge Hardscapes will tell you whether the apron can be overlaid, needs a full excavation, or should stay concrete at the public joint and turn to pavers on the private side. Call 727-490-9798 or book at paverforge.com/book-online.
