Bayway Isles Hardscapes: Gated Waterfront Pavers on the Bay

Bayway Isles is a short run from our St. Pete Beach shop and a different job than a Gulf cottage. The streets are gated. The lots sit on Tampa Bay. Groundwater is close. HOA rules decide what the driveway can look like before we ever talk color.

PaverForge Hardscapes installs and re-levels pavers in Bayway Isles so the field stays locked after the wet season, not just the week after install. Call 727-490-9798 or book a walkthrough at paverforge.com/book-online.

What a Bayway Isles lot actually needs

Waterfront Pinellas soil does not forgive a thin sand bed. Afternoon storms sit on a low backyard. Irrigation overspray stains a pale field. A pretty paver color will not fix that.

  • Compacted aggregate base sized for cars if it is a driveway, not a patio spec under tires

  • Positive pitch away from the slab and toward a legal low point or drain

  • Edge restraint that holds through heat, rain, and tidal groundwater

  • Joint sand that locks after compaction instead of washing toward the bay

Driveways, pool decks, and re-levels

Most Bayway Isles calls are two-car drives that have settled at the apron, pool decks that pond after a storm, or walks that rock near the garage. If the existing stones are still sound, we re-level instead of tearing the field out. That decision happens on site, not from a photo.

We also quote matching bands and borders so a repair does not read as a patch on an HOA street.

How to start a Bayway Isles quote

Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798 or use the book-online page. Send a few photos of the surface, the low spots, and the street frontage. We typically reply the same business day and will walk the lot before we lock a number.

We also serve Isla del Sol, Maximo, Tierra Verde, Pinellas Point, and south St. Petersburg from the same crew.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
