Belleair Shore Hardscapes on a Tiny Gulf Lot

Belleair Shore is a tiny Gulf municipality between Belleair Beach and Indian Rocks Beach. Lots are short, setbacks are tight, and there is rarely a side yard wide enough for a skid steer and a pallet at the same time. That is a planning problem before it is a paver problem.

Coastal base on a postage-stamp lot

We still excavate to a compacted aggregate section. Small lot does not mean thin section. If anything, the field sees more concentrated traffic because there is only one place to park. We compact in lifts and we do not leave a sand lens over wet native soil.

  • Measure the only staging path before we bid

  • Use smaller deliveries instead of one blocked street

  • Keep the city apron legal

  • Specify a color that will not chalk out in two summers

Permits and neighbors

A town this small notices a dumpster. We confirm what the town wants on the approach and we keep the street passable. Belleair Shore is close enough to our St. Pete Beach shop that we can stage the job without treating it like a long-haul mainland install.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
