Beltrees Street Dunedin Paver Walks

Beltrees Street is a quiet Dunedin block of older cottages south of downtown, under a heavy oak canopy and close enough to the bay that salt air and afternoon storms both show up in the hardscape. Walks here are often a single narrow run from the street to a raised stoop.

Walks, not just a driveway patch

A Beltrees walk fails first at the stoop and at the sidewalk joint. We rebuild the landing so the tread meets the door threshold without a trip lip, keep the walk at a gentle pitch away from the house, and cut a clean border where the new pavers meet the city walk.

Roots are the other constraint. Where an oak is lifting the old concrete, the repair is a root-conscious base, not a thin overlay. Geotextile, a compacted lift of crushed concrete or limestone, and a restrained paver field that can be lifted later if the arborist has to come back.

PaverForge Hardscapes sets these Dunedin walks and the short drives that share the same apron. Reach the crew at 727-490-9798 or PaverForge@gmail.com.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
