Boyd Hill Nature Preserve-Adjacent Drives on South Lake Maggiore
Boyd Hill Nature Preserve and the south rim of Lake Maggiore are a different micro-climate than a Gulf-front lot. Canopy is heavier, soils stay damp, and the preserve edge is not a place to sheet-drain a new driveway. PaverForge Hardscapes pitches those fields to the street or a private basin and keeps construction spoil off the preserve line.
Preserve-edge rules of thumb
No washout into the park ditch. No night flood lights aimed at the canopy. Sleeves for future low-voltage path lighting go in with the base so the owner is not saw-cutting a finished field later. Where a mature live oak sits inside the old drive outline, we redesign the throat instead of topping the root plate with more stone.
South Maggiore lots also see boat-trailer turns on weekends. The apron and first twenty feet get the heavier section; the courtyard can stay a lighter patio field if it never sees a dual axle.
What a quote needs from you
Photos of the preserve-side fence, the existing apron, and any washout channels after the last storm. We will tell you whether this is a full rebuild or a targeted re-level before anyone digs.
