Central Avenue Mid-Block Hardscapes in St. Petersburg
Central Avenue mid-block lots are not suburban pads. You get a narrow frontage, a neighbor on each shoulder, and often an alley or a side gate that is the only legal place to stage stone. PaverForge builds those jobs without treating the sidewalk like a dump site.
Access is the first design problem
If the only path is a 36-inch side yard, pallet count, saw location, and spoil piles have to be planned before the first unit is cut. We will not promise a two-day driveway on a lot that can only take one pallet at a time.
Stage from the alley when the city and the neighbor layout allow it.
Protect existing sidewalks and thresholds during saw work.
Keep the first course locked so delivery traffic does not walk the edge.
Pitch courtyards to a drain, not toward the storefront slab.
Courtyards and storefront walks
Some Central Avenue parcels want a small courtyard instead of a full driveway. The same rules apply: compacted base, a real edge, and joints that can be maintained after the restaurant or office opens. Decorative pattern does not replace drainage.
