Clearwater Point Peninsula Driveways and Courtyards
Clearwater Point is a narrow peninsula off Island Estates, with gulf-adjacent lots, short drives, and courtyards that take salt spray and guest parking on the same weekend. PaverForge Hardscapes builds those fields with a coastal section: crushed-concrete base, salt-tolerant edge restraint, and joints that can be rinsed without washing out.
Salt air and edge hardware
Plastic edge that was never pinned rusts at the spikes and walks after a storm. We use pinned restraint, coated spikes at the water side, and a soldier course that can be lifted if a utility cut comes through the courtyard later. Darker borders hide tire film from weekend guests.
Courtyard drainage on a tight peninsula lot
These lots rarely have a long run to the street. We pitch the courtyard to a slot drain or a planted overflow, keep the garage threshold above the field, and isolate the house slab so a re-level does not load the stucco weep.
Schedule a walk-through
If you are on Clearwater Point and the courtyard ponds after a gulf shower, send two photos of the low corner and the slab lip. 727-490-9798.
