Cleveland Street Hardscapes in Clearwater

Cleveland Street is a working corridor, not a quiet cul-de-sac. Storefront walks, side drives, and small courtyards have to take foot traffic, deliveries, and the afternoon storm that sheets off a sloped roof. A loose decorative field collects dirt in the joints and looks tired by the end of tourist season.

Corridor constraints

  • Tight staging: pallets and a compact machine, not a full dump-and-spread spread.

  • Pitch away from the door threshold so the first rain does not enter the shop.

  • A joint sand that can be cleaned without blowing out after every pressure wash.

  • An edge that holds where the walk meets the city sidewalk or a parking stall.

How we run the job

We confirm access and dump hours before we order stone. Downtown Clearwater work often shares a lane with customers; we stage so the walk stays usable as long as possible. The field is compacted, edged, and sanded so a weekly clean does not empty the joints. This is not the same scope as a downtown courtyard we already wrote about. Cleveland Street is the approach corridor: drives, side walks, and the strip between the building and the curb.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
