Court Street Clearwater Courtyard Pavers

Court Street is a downtown Clearwater block where small courtyards, side entries, and short walks meet the public sidewalk. Settled concrete holds water at the door after a hard rain.

These lots are tighter than a residential drive in Countryside. Staging has to stay off the travel lane, and the walk has to reopen the same day when the court is a business entry.

Entry court sequence

We lift the failed slab, compact base to the sidewalk elevation, and set pavers with a slight pitch away from the threshold. Utility lids in the court get a paver border so they can be opened later.

A darker soldier course at the sidewalk hides scuffs and gives a clean line if the city grinds the walk later. We do not seal a damp court the same day.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
