Crest Lake Park-Adjacent Driveways in Clearwater
Crest Lake Park sits in the middle of a Clearwater neighborhood that still uses original thin driveways from decades ago. Those slabs crack, the park oaks lift the edges, and stormwater from the street finds the low corner of the lot. Replacing that slab with pavers only works if the new field is thicker, better compacted, and pitched with intent.
Lake-adjacent grade
We do not aim a new driveway at the park. Sheet flow goes to the street or to a basin that can be maintained. If the lot already drains across the park line, we say so in the quote instead of burying the problem under bedding sand. Base goes down in compacted lifts. Edges get a restraint that stays put when a truck turns in from the street.
80mm pavers on drives that see daily passenger cars.
Root-aware digs along the park oaks.
Apron and sidewalk transitions that match what Clearwater inspects.
Joint maintenance notes so the field can be re-sanded after storm season.
How we quote it
Send two photos: one from the street and one toward the park. We will tell you whether a re-level of an existing paver field is honest, or whether the old concrete has to come out. PaverForge Hardscapes works Clearwater on the same spec we use in St. Pete Beach.
