Dome City St. Pete Driveway Repairs
Dome City is a west-central St. Petersburg neighborhood where a lot of driveways are short, shared at the alley, or pinched between a carport and a side fence. PaverForge Hardscapes repairs and replaces those pads without staging a dumpster on the neighbor's grass.
Alley-loaded lots are the usual call. The concrete pad at the alley has settled, the gate no longer clears, and stormwater from the alley sheet-flows onto the pad. We rebuild the private pad with a crown or a one-way pitch back to the alley, not into the house, and we set the gate track on a separate footing so the paver field is not the hinge.
Utility conflicts are common on these tight lots. Before we cut, we locate irrigation, the sewer lateral cleanout, and any overhead-to-underground electric that a previous owner buried shallow. A flush cleanout ring and a hose-bib grade ring go in while the base is open, which is cheaper than lifting a finished field later.
Short-lot auto-turn pads that still leave a walk to the side door
Alley edge that does not crumble when the trash truck turns
Carport slab isolation so the new pavers are not glued to a cracked slab
Side-yard trash and meter pads with a trapped wash-down drain where the grade allows
We keep work hours reasonable on streets where houses sit close. Material stays on plywood or mats, not on the neighbor's lawn. PaverForge is based on St. Pete Beach and works Dome City as a regular west St. Pete run. Book a visit at paverforge.com or call 727-490-9798.
If only the alley throat has failed, we do not automatically replace the whole drive. A saw-cut repair with a new base under the failed bay is often enough, as long as the rest of the field is still locked and pitched.
