Downtown Gulfport Beach Boulevard Courtyards and Casino Walks
Downtown Gulfport is a short hop from our St. Pete Beach shop, but Beach Boulevard is not a suburban driveway. Storefront walks, courtyard dining pads, and the paths that feed the Casino sit on compact lots with constant foot traffic, sprinkler overspray, and salt air moving off Boca Ciega Bay.
What fails on Beach Boulevard pavers
Thin bedding over old concrete that hollows out under chair legs and cart wheels.
Joints that wash out every time the city rinses the sidewalk.
Edges that unravel where a courtyard meets a public walk or a planter curb.
Pitch that dumps rinse water toward a tenant door instead of a drain.
How we build a downtown Gulfport courtyard
We measure door thresholds first, then set a compact crushed-stone base that can be staged off a side street instead of blocking Beach Boulevard all day. Fields get a locked edge, polymeric joints rated for wash-down, and a pitch that keeps the dining pad dry after a summer storm. If the lot is a storefront, we leave a clean soldier course at the public walk so the city sidewalk and the private courtyard read as two different planes.

Send a few photos of the courtyard or storefront walk, plus any HOA or city notes you already have. Call 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online. PaverForge Hardscapes will tell you whether the existing field can be re-leveled or whether the base has to come out.
