Drew Street Driveways in Clearwater

Drew Street is one of the east-west spines through mainland Clearwater. Lots off it sit on typical Pinellas sand, take afternoon storms, and often share a short apron with a busy collector. PaverForge Hardscapes builds driveways and front walks here from St. Pete Beach so the field stays locked after the first wet season.

What a Drew Street lot actually needs

A pretty paver color does not save a thin base. The sand under most Clearwater mainland yards pumps when you skip compaction, and the first hurricane-season rain finds the low corner at the garage. We set pitch away from the slab, compact the base in lifts, and lock the perimeter before the field is swept.

  • Compacted aggregate base in lifts, not a dump-and-rake pad

  • Pitch that sends water to the street or a drain, not under the garage door

  • An edge restraint that holds the field when a delivery truck turns in

  • A color that still reads after a summer of Gulf sun

Access and neighbor traffic

Drew is not a quiet beach street. Staging has to stay on the lot. We plan material drops, keep the sidewalk passable, and do not leave a half-cut apron overnight if a storm is on the board.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
