Dunedin Country Club Estates Neighborhood Driveways
Dunedin Country Club Estates sits north of downtown Dunedin on slightly higher ground than the bayfront blocks, but the soils still shift after summer cloudbursts. PaverForge Hardscapes builds 80mm interlocking concrete-paver driveways here with a compacted crushed-concrete base, geotextile over organic pockets, and a pinned edge that holds the field through golf-cart and passenger-car traffic.
What these lots actually need
Many of these streets run a modest crown into a shallow swale. We survey the existing garage slab, the city apron, and the swale invert before excavation so the new field does not dump water toward the house or pond at the throat. Live oaks along the side lots get a root-plate setback and a flexible field rather than a saw-cut through the flare.
Color and texture stay coastal: tumbled or micro-chamfer units in warm greys and tans, with a darker soldier-course border that hides tire scuffs from weekend golf traffic. We blend three pallets on the first course so one crate does not print a blotch across the throat.
Install sequence
After 811 locates, we undercut organic topsoil, proof-roll, and place crushed concrete in lifts. Bedding is ASTM C33 concrete sand, not leftover mason sand. The field is 80mm on a residential drive; walks can step down to 60mm at a soldier band. Polymeric joints cure on a dry window so afternoon storms do not haze the face.
