Where the walk meets a city sidewalk or marina bulkhead, we keep the private field isolated so a city grind or a dock rebuild does not walk our soldier course. Pitch goes to a legal low point, not toward storefront thresholds or a seawall cap that already has a job.

Salt and staging

We use salt-tolerant pinned restraint, a compacted crushed-concrete base, and joints that can be re-sanded after a festival weekend. Staging is planned so pallets do not block the marina drive aisle or the restaurant dumpster cut.
