Flush Low-Voltage Landscape Junction Boxes
Landscape lighting leads fail at the splice, not at the fixture. If that splice is buried under polymeric sand or hidden under a fixed paver, the next repair means tearing up a locked walk. A flush junction box, set in the field like a valve box, keeps the splice dry and reachable.
Where the box belongs
We place the box out of the main walking line, usually in a border course or just off the path in a small paver pad. The lid sits flush with the finished surface. The conduit or direct-burial cable sweeps up into the box with a drip loop, and the box is bedded on compacted base so it does not settle below the pavers and become a toe catch.
What we do not do
We do not polymeric-sand over the lid, and we do not run the cable through a joint with no sleeve. A short sleeve under the walk lets the cable be replaced without lifting the field. The transformer stays on its own pad or wall bracket, above irrigation spray, with the same grade discipline.
This is a small scope we add to a walk, a patio, or a pool-deck lighting package. It is not a substitute for a licensed electrical scope on line-voltage work.
