Flush Seawall Tie-Rod Inspection Plates in Pinellas

A seawall tie-rod or tieback is useless if the patio buries the access. After a storm the inspector needs the rod line, not a guess under polymeric sand. PaverForge sets a framed, liftable plate flush with the field so the patio stays usable and the wall can still be checked.

How the plate is built

We locate the rod or deadman line before the base goes in, frame an opening the plate can lift out of, and keep the surrounding field restrained so the cut does not become a crack. The plate is paver, not a plastic lid, and it sits at the same pitch as the patio. It is not a substitute for a deadman access plate farther back on the anchor line.

This is a hardscape detail on canal lots in Pinellas Point, Maximo, and the rest of south Pinellas. Call 727-490-9798 before the patio locks the wall in.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
