Flush Seawall Weep-Hole Splash Collars
A seawall weep hole has to discharge. Burying it under joint sand is how a new patio ponds against the cap after the first king tide. PaverForge Hardscapes sets a flush splash collar at the weep so water lands on a hard surface and runs to the yard drain, not into the bedding sand.
The collar sits level with the field. It is not a trip edge, and it is not a cover you have to hunt for with a screwdriver.
What the collar does
Keeps the weep open after the patio is finished
Stops discharge from washing the first courses of joint sand
Stays flush so a chair or a cart does not catch the rim
If the patio already covers the weep, we cut a collar in rather than overlaying the field. Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798. We serve St. Pete Beach, Pinellas Point, and the canal streets from the same shop.
