Fort De Soto and Pinellas Bayway South Hardscapes in Tierra Verde
The Pinellas Bayway south of the Tierra Verde island spine is park traffic, boat trailers, and gulf wind. Homes on this approach sit on sugar sand with a high water table. PaverForge Hardscapes builds driveways and courtyard walks here so a trailer can turn without rutting the base and so stormwater does not pond against the garage slab.
Bayway soils and base
Native sand on the south island often looks firm until the first plate-compactor pass. We proof-roll, add geotextile, and build the base in lifts. On lots that still pump, we confine the aggregate in a geocell under the wheel paths, then place a normal bedding and paver section on top.
Trailer turning radii that do not chew the soldier course
Aprons that meet Bayway / county right-of-way grade
Darker borders that hide trailer-jack scuffs
Staging that stays off the park-bound lane
Courtyards away from the park gate
A lot of these houses hide the living space behind a courtyard wall. We pitch that court to a drain, keep hose-bibs and irrigation valves flush in the field, and leave a sleeve for low-voltage lighting so the walk is usable after a late Fort De Soto day. We do not build inside the park. We work the private lots that live next to that traffic.
