Fountain Recirculation Pump Vault Pads for Pinellas Patios
Small fountains, birdbaths, and courtyard bubblers need a recirculation pump that can be pulled for a clog. Burying that pump under a finished paver field means the next service call becomes a patio repair.
Vault pad and a way out for water
We set a small vault or a raised plinth at the edge of the patio, on the same compacted base as the field. The lid sits flush or just proud enough to find, and a trapped drain or a pitched joint keeps splash from sitting in the vault. The pump cord leaves through a sleeve, not through an open joint that washes out.
Salt air and the rest of the patio
Coastal Pinellas spray is hard on a cheap plastic lid. We use a collar the paver can lock against, and we keep the vault out of the main walking line. If the feature is on a pool deck, the vault stays clear of the bonding grid and the screen-cage track.
