Gandy Heights Neighborhood Driveways in St. Petersburg
Gandy Heights sits just south of the Gandy corridor in St. Petersburg: short lots, side-load or straight-in garages, and street water that moves fast when a summer cell stalls over the bay. PaverForge Hardscapes installs and rebuilds those driveways so the field does not pond at the slab or ravel at the city apron.
Tight-lot staging on Gandy Heights
These streets do not leave room for a full pallet farm. We night-load or curb-stage extra units, protect neighbor sod with access mats, and cut waste on the first day so leftover pallets are not blocking the only parking stall. If the city recently milled or raised the apron, we rebuild the throat so the first paver course is not a trip edge.
Garage slabs here are often a half-inch proud of the old walk. We measure the weather-seal height, set the field to a controlled step-down, and isolate the stoop from the house slab so seasonal movement does not telegraph a crack through the landing.
Runoff from the Gandy corridor
A one-way pitch toward a side-yard basin beats a flat field that stores water against the overhead door. We confirm the two-percent fall with a string line, add a trench drain at the threshold only when the geometry requires it, and keep polymeric joints off the first irrigation cycle.
