Grant Street Dunedin Paver Approaches

Grant Street runs through the older Dunedin grid near downtown. Lots are narrow, aprons are short, and the city sidewalk is often newer than the driveway it meets.

The lip at the sidewalk

A grind-and-raise leaves the concrete apron high or low. Cars clip the lip, and water sits in the throat after a summer storm. Patching the lip with mortar does not fix the sand under it.

What the rebuild includes

We remove the failed apron, compact the base in lifts, and set pavers so the sidewalk joint is flush. A soldier course at the street takes the tire scuff. Irrigation lines in the parkway get sleeved before the field goes down.

If the Grant Street throat is the part guests notice, send photos to PaverForge@gmail.com or call 727-490-9798. We work the Dunedin grid and the rest of Pinellas.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
