Haines Road and 49th Street North Corridor Driveways

Haines Road and 49th Street North run the mid-county grid between west-central St. Petersburg and Pinellas Park. Lots here mix postwar bungalows, small commercial pads, and alley-loaded parking. PaverForge Hardscapes replaces cracked slabs and tired asphalt with interlocking pavers that can be lifted later when a water line or irrigation main has to come up.

Corridor constraints

Right-of-way aprons, utility poles, and shallow gas services show up on almost every Haines block. We call locates before excavation, keep the first course off meter boxes, and build the driveway apron to the city or county grade so sheet flow still reaches the gutter.

  • 60 mm walks and 80 mm drive fields on the same lot

  • Shared-drive splits with a clean joint at the property line

  • Parking pads that leave a trash-day pull-out

  • Night staging when 49th Street traffic will not allow a daytime dump

Small-commercial adjacent homes

Where a house sits next to a shop or a church lot, we design the edge so delivery vans do not climb the soldier course. A darker header course and a thicker base under the first two parking stalls usually solve the scuff and the rut.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
