Hamlin Boulevard Hardscapes from Largo to Indian Rocks Beach
Hamlin Boulevard is the east-west cut from inland Largo toward Indian Rocks Beach. West of the trail and the Intracoastal approach, lots pick up more sand, more irrigation stain, and more storm wash. East toward the mainland, you get oak roots and longer driveways. PaverForge Hardscapes changes the section to match that shift instead of copying one detail the length of the road.
Mainland lots vs the island approach
On the Largo side we usually excavate to a crushed-stone base, compact in lifts, and reserve extra depth where an oak sits inside the field. Closer to the water the native sand is cleaner but less stable. Those jobs get geotextile under the base and a heavier edge so the field does not migrate toward the swale.
Check the water table after a summer storm before you lock a base depth.
Keep polymeric sand out of the first rain window; rinse haze only after the joint has set.
Pitch the field to the street or a catch basin. Do not dump roof water onto a neighbor's Hamlin lot.
What we actually build on Hamlin
Most calls are failed concrete drives, narrow side-yard walks to a pool cage, and apron rebuilds at the city sidewalk. We also reset settled fields after a utility cut. The same pavers go back down when the color is still in production; when it is not, we blend a border so the patch does not read as a rectangle from the road.
If your Hamlin Boulevard driveway is rocking or the walk to the cage holds water, call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798. We serve Largo through Indian Rocks Beach from St. Pete Beach and will walk the grade before we quote.
