Hammock Pine Pavers in Palm Harbor
Hammock Pine is an east Palm Harbor pocket near the East Lake and Keystone side, pine lots on sandy fill, with architectural review that cares about border color and driveway width. The fill looks stable until the first wet season after a new roof dumpster sat on it.

Fill, pines, and review packets
Pine hammock lots often have a loose surface layer over older fill. We proof-roll before we commit to a section depth. If the drive ruts under the plate, the base gets another lift or an undercut, not a thicker bedding sand. Bedding sand is not a structural layer.
HOA packets want a layout, a border, and a color name. We can put that in the submittal so the review is about the drawing, not a guess from a phone photo.
Pitch away from the house
These lots do not always have a deep swale. We set the garage as the high point and send water to the street or a side yard that already drains. Downspouts get a splash block or a tie-in, not a dump onto fresh joint sand.
Walks can use a lighter paver. Drives stay at a vehicular thickness, usually 60mm or 80mm depending on turning and boat-trailer use. We say which one on site.
How a Hammock Pine job starts
Photos of the drive, the pine side, and the sidewalk joint are enough to schedule the walk. PaverForge Hardscapes, 727-490-9798.
