High Point Estates paver driveways

High Point Estates is a working neighborhood off 66th Street North and Ulmerton, close to Cross Bayou and the Largo–Seminole commercial corridor. Driveways here see work trucks, boat trailers, and weekend guests, then sit in afternoon heat. Many were poured thin or overlaid with 60mm patio pavers. Those fields settle at the throat and open joints along the garage slab. PaverForge Hardscapes installs 80mm driveway pavers on a compacted crushed-concrete base sized for vehicle loads.

Base, thickness, and drainage

We proof-roll the subgrade, undercut muck, and compact in lifts at optimum moisture. Bedding is ASTM C33 concrete sand, not leftover mason sand. The field pitches away from the house at about two percent, and we match the city apron height so the first private course is not a ramp. Where a side-load garage needs a turning stall, we widen with a soldier-course border so the extra stall reads as part of the original drive, not a patched add-on.

Living next to a busy corridor

Ulmerton and 66th Street traffic means we schedule pallet drops and saw-cutting so the street stays open. Irrigation that stains the existing field is capped or rerouted before joint sand. After install we water the polymeric joints on the first-week schedule so the lock-up survives the next thunderstorm. Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
