Hillcrest Heights Neighborhood Driveways in St. Petersburg
Hillcrest Heights sits just west of Lake Maggiore with mid-century lots, live oaks, and driveways that pinch between the garage slab and the city walk. PaverForge Hardscapes installs and rebuilds those drives from our St. Pete Beach shop so the field stays locked through rainy-season saturation.
What the lots actually demand
Many Hillcrest Heights drives are short and crowned toward one side yard. We proof-roll after organic undercut, place crushed-concrete base in lifts, and hold a two-percent pitch off the garage threshold so stormwater does not pond at the slab. Live-oak flare plates get a geotextile wrap and a thickness transition instead of a saw-cut through the root plate.
City walk and apron matching
When St. Petersburg raises a sidewalk or pours a new apron, the private field is left sitting low. We rebuild the throat to the new grade, pin edge restraint at the ROW, and match the existing soldier course so the repair does not read as a patch. Tight-lot staging uses access mats so neighbor sod and irrigation heads stay intact.
