Innovation District Hardscapes near Tropicana Field
The Innovation District around Tropicana Field is a mix of older cottages, new infill, and small commercial storefronts. Alleys are tight. Event days dump extra cars on streets that were never designed as parking lots. A hardscape here has to take abuse and still be openable when a utility cut or a remodel comes through. That is paver work, not a decorative pour.
Small-commercial and courtyard fields
We build storefront walks, side courtyards, and dumpster or service pads that an owner can maintain. Joints get a soldier course so the field does not unravel when a pallet jack turns. If the use is HOA-common or small-commercial, we quote a section that can be lifted without shutting the whole frontage.
Alleys and staging
Measure gate width and overhead lines before the first truck is booked.
Stage material so an alley stays passable for neighbors.
Keep finished height legal at the right-of-way. Event-day parking is not an excuse to bury a sidewalk.
Use a compacted base even on a courtyard that looks like a patio. Delivery dollies do the same damage as a car.
What changes as the district rebuilds
Blocks near the stadium will keep changing. A field that can be opened, re-leveled, and blended is worth more here than a slab you have to saw. We keep extra pavers from the same dye lot when the owner wants a future addition to match.
