Jeffords Street Clearwater Courtyard Pavers

Jeffords Street is part of Clearwater's older downtown grid, a few blocks off the Cleveland and Fort Harrison corridors. Houses sit close together, courtyards are small, and the concrete paths between the sidewalk and the side door are often the only outdoor floor the lot has.

Tight access, same base

A courtyard this size does not get a thinner spec. We still excavate the failed slab, compact a base that can take a furniture load, and pitch water to a yard inlet or the street rather than the stem wall. Material comes in through the walk, so we stage pavers on plywood and keep the neighbor's irrigation heads marked.

Existing porch slabs stay. The new field dies into a soldier course, and any hose bib or cleanout in the courtyard gets a flush ring so it can be opened without pulling pavers.

Clearwater scheduling

PaverForge Hardscapes covers Jeffords Street from the St. Pete Beach shop. Call 727-490-9798 or send photos through book-online. We also rebuild nearby Court Street and Fort Harrison courtyards.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
