Lake Bellevue Paver Driveways in NE St. Pete
Lake Bellevue sits north of downtown St. Petersburg, between the 22nd Avenue North corridor and the 30th Avenue North line, east of 4th Street. Lots are older, oaks throw roots toward the apron, and afternoon rain sits on a flat drive.
PaverForge Hardscapes builds and rebuilds paver drives, aprons, and side walks for these lots from our St. Pete Beach shop.
What the older blocks do to a thin base
Many Lake Bellevue drives were laid on a skim of sand or a tired concrete slab that has already cracked at the garage. Sugar sand and old fill pump when a car stops on a wet day. You see tire dish at the apron and a lip at the sidewalk.
We excavate the failed section, compact aggregate in lifts, and set an edge restraint that stays pinned through the next wet season. Eighty-millimeter pavers go on any bay that sees a car. Walks can stay at patio thickness.
Drainage and the city sidewalk
Pitch runs to the street or to a side swale that already works, not back at the garage slab. If the city sidewalk has been ground and raised, we rebuild the private throat so the apron meets that new grade without a trip lip.
