Lake Haven Paver Approaches on Main Street in Dunedin
Lake Haven is the 55-and-over manufactured-home community at 1415 Main Street in Dunedin, a few blocks from downtown and a short drive from the causeway. Sites sit close together, many of them near the water, with a clubhouse, shuffleboard courts, and a community pool. PaverForge builds the private site approaches and common-area walks those lots actually need.
Tight site lines and shared utilities
Most Lake Haven drives are short aprons between the street and a carport or patio slab. The work is the edges: water meters, electrical pedestals, sewer cleanouts, and the neighbor's lot line. We locate those before we cut, set flush grade rings where a lid has to stay reachable, and keep the new field off the home's skirting and tie-downs.
Sugar sand and a high water table
Main Street Dunedin is old coastal fill. Organic pockets and sugar sand show up as soon as the apron is opened. We undercut soft spots, place crushed-concrete base in lifts, and proof-roll before bedding sand goes down. Near the water we pitch the field away from the home and do not trap irrigation or roof water against the skirting.
Clubhouse walks and the pool surround
Common-area walks take foot traffic, carts, and delivery dollies. We use a restrained border, a slip-resistant texture at the pool, and a threshold that meets the existing slab without a toe-catcher. Park rules still govern color and work hours, so we match the sample the office approves before the pallet is ordered.
