Lakewood Village Driveways in Largo
Lakewood Village in Largo is not the Lakewood civic grid in south St. Pete. It is a mainland pocket of single-family lots with mature canopy, reclaimed-water irrigation, and drives that were set on sand in the 1980s. After a few wet seasons the joints wash and the field dishes in the tire tracks.
Base first, color second
We excavate to a depth that leaves room for compacted aggregate, a bedding layer, and an 80mm driveway unit. Organic pockets get undercut. The finished surface pitches off the garage toward the street or a designed swale. Reclaimed-water overspray is planned around the polymeric cure window so the joints lock instead of staining on day two.
If the existing field is still in good units, a re-level with new joint sand and pinned restraint is cheaper than a full tear-out. We say so when that is the honest scope.
