Lealman Heights Paver Yards in Central Pinellas
Lealman Heights sits in unincorporated Pinellas between St. Petersburg, Pinellas Park, and Kenneth City. Lots are modest, side yards are tight, and a lot of the concrete out front was poured on native sand.
PaverForge Hardscapes installs and re-levels pavers here from our St. Pete Beach shop. Call 727-490-9798 or book a walkthrough at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.
What the yard actually needs
We measure the apron to the public approach, the garage threshold, and the low spot after a summer rain. Then we excavate deep enough for compacted aggregate, not a thin sand bed over the failed slab.
Older Lealman drives often hide form boards, irrigation lines, and a soft pocket where a tree came out. Those get undercut and rebuilt before the first course goes down.
Pitch and the alley edge
Water has to leave the field. We pitch away from the slab and toward a legal outfall, and we pin a rigid edge so the first course does not walk into the street or the alley. A sand-only edge fails after the first wet season.
If the stones are still sound, we re-level and re-sand instead of tearing out the whole field. Send photos of the surface, the street frontage, and any standing water. We typically reply the same business day.
