Locust Street NE St. Pete Walkways

Locust Street NE walkways climb from a city sidewalk to a porch that sits higher than the modern street. The run is short. If the pitch is wrong, water sits on the first landing or runs back to the door.

PaverForge Hardscapes rebuilds those walks so the steps, the landing, and the sidewalk read as one field. Call 727-490-9798 or use paverforge.com/book-online.

What we check before we cut

Old Northeast walks often hide a step that was added when the sidewalk was replaced. We measure both ends before we pull stones.

  • Sidewalk elevation and porch threshold, so the run is not a trip lip

  • Step risers that stay even after compaction

  • Edge restraint at the turf and the foundation planting

  • Downspout splash kept off the landing

How to start

A photo from the sidewalk looking at the porch shows the rise. We walk Locust before we quote. Poplar Street NE courtyards are the same crew and the same base spec.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
