Madeleine Island and North Pinellas Bayway Pavers
Madeleine Island and the north Pinellas Bayway lots sit between the mainland bridges and Tierra Verde. Sand, salt air, and one-way construction access change the spec more than the paver color does.
Barrier-island base and edges
We treat these lots like other Bayway work: geotextile over loose sand, compacted crushed-concrete base, and an edge restraint that survives salt air. Plastic edges that rust or walk off the spike line fail here. Metal or pinned concrete-compatible restraint is chosen for the exposure.
Access is the other constraint. Pallet drops and haul-off have to fit the causeway schedule and the neighbor strip. We plan extra cutting waste on radius drives and waterfront returns so the last course is not a patchwork of leftovers.
How to start
