Maximo Moorings Estates Neighborhood Driveways

Maximo Moorings Estates wraps the marina and the south-side waterfront streets near Maximo Park. Driveways here share space with boat trailers, golf carts, and guest parking for weekend slips. The old asphalt or slab often fails first at the throat, where trailer jacks punch through a thin section.

What the lot actually needs

• An 80mm field where trailers stage, not a 60mm patio leftover

• A turning radius that clears the garage without climbing the neighbor’s sod

• A dock-approach pad that does not hold standing water against the seawall

• A clean joint at the city apron so the trailer tongue does not catch

Section and layout

We design the driveway as a working surface first. Herringbone in the travel lane resists shove from trailer starts. A sailor course at the garage keeps the door weather seal at the right height after re-level. If the owner also wants a rinse pad, we isolate that drain from the main field so wash water does not migrate under the pavers.

Marina-adjacent lots pick up more irrigation stain and fertilizer burn. We delay polymeric lock-up until the irrigation tech has capped overspray, then we water the joints on the first-week schedule.

Access

Maximo streets are busy on Saturdays. Pallet drops and demo loads run on a weekday window so the marina gate and the residential curb stay clear.
