Milwaukee Avenue Storefront Walks in Downtown Dunedin

Milwaukee Avenue sits one block off Main Street in downtown Dunedin. Storefronts here need walks that stay flat under daily foot traffic, drain away from wood or impact thresholds, and can be opened again after a weekend without leaving a construction face on the sidewalk.

PaverForge Hardscapes rebuilds these walks on a compacted base with a two-percent pitch off the door. Where the city sidewalk has heaved, we do not chase municipal grade into the private field. We isolate the storefront landing, then feather the first private course so patrons do not hit a lip.

Cuts around downspouts, hose bibs, and sandwich-board zones are dry-cut with dust control. Joints get polymeric sand only after the surface is clean and dry. We leave a no-traffic window so chairs and deliveries do not rake fresh joints.

Downtown Dunedin walk details

  • Match existing stoop or tile height at the door sill.

  • Use a tighter joint and a micro-chamfer unit so heels do not catch.

  • Stage pallets in a loading window, not on the public sidewalk overnight.

  • Photograph the finished landing for the tenant and the landlord.

We also handle nearby Dunedin courtyards and Main Street approaches. Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
