Monument-Sign and Light-Pole Bases on Pinellas Commercial Lots
Storefront walks can hide a thin base for a season. A monument sign or parking-lot light pole cannot. The footing is a point load, the cover has to sit flush with the field, and the splice can cannot sit in a puddle after every summer storm.
How we spec the pad
We pour or form the footing to the electrician's box height, then wrap a paver collar that can be lifted without opening the whole walk. The field pitches away from the pole so the handhole does not fill.
Footing and conduit placed before the paver collar, not cut in after
Flush handhole or grade ring so a cart wheel does not catch the lid
Sacrificial collar units that swap without a saw at the field
Permit photos of cover elevation and pitch when the city asks
Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798 with the sign or pole shop drawing, the lot address, and two photos of the existing pad.
