Mullet Creek Waterfront Yards in Safety Harbor
Mullet Creek feeds Old Tampa Bay on the north side of Safety Harbor. Yards here sit low, often between a seawall cap and a short drive off Bayshore or a side street. A patio that pitches the wrong way holds water against the stucco after every summer storm.
Seawall, setback, and the first course
PaverForge Hardscapes walks the cap before we layout. If the cap is the high point, the field pitches inland to a channel drain or a pop-up, not over the seawall. Mangrove and shoreline setbacks stay clear. We do not bury a drain outlet in the riprap.
The base is lifted in compacted passes. Organic muck at the creek edge is undercut. Edge restraint on the water side is a pinned metal or a haunch, not a plastic spike that pulls in soft fill.
What belongs in the field
Dock-hose bibs, electrical pedestals, and cleanouts get flush grade rings. A boat-lift winch or davit footing is isolated so vibration does not telegraph into the patio. Joints are swept with polymeric sand only after the pitch is proved with a hose test.
This is a different lot from Alligator Lake Estates or the Philippe Park approach. PaverForge Hardscapes serves Safety Harbor from St. Pete Beach. Call 727-490-9798 with a photo of the cap and the downspouts.
