Oak Avenue Clearwater Paver Approaches
Oak Avenue in Clearwater is an older residential street with short approaches, sidewalk joints, and sand that will not hold a plastic edge. The failure is usually a dropped apron, not a faded color.
Approach sequence
Failed concrete comes out. We compact base to the sidewalk elevation and set pavers so the private approach does not create a lip at the right-of-way. A concrete ribbon or a buried edge holds the field where tires turn.
Utility lids in the apron get a cut border. We pitch water to the street, not at the garage threshold. Oak shade means we wait for a dry joint before sand and sealer.
