Old Coachman Road Residential Drives in Clearwater

Old Coachman Road runs through central Clearwater as a cut-through between larger arterials. Residential drives along it see more turning traffic than a quiet cul-de-sac, and many were poured thin or added onto over time. PaverForge Hardscapes rebuilds those approaches so the first twenty feet survive daily use.

Corridor conditions we design around

  • Aprons that meet a busy road and take turning radius from visitors who overshoot the throat.

  • Irrigation and reclaimed-water staining on the public-facing field.

  • Utilities in the first lift of the drive that get cut and poorly backfilled.

  • Limited on-site stacking space, so pallets and spoil have to be sequenced.

A rebuild that looks finished from the street

We keep the visible field on a consistent blend, pin the edge at the right-of-way, and photograph the city apron before and after. If the owner wants a darker soldier course, we use it at the throat where tire scuffs show first. Compaction is checked in lifts so the first rainy season does not open a trough at the sidewalk.

PaverForge Hardscapes serves Old Coachman Road and the rest of Clearwater from St. Pete Beach. Call 727-490-9798.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
