Palm Harbor Oaks Neighborhood Driveways
Palm Harbor Oaks sits inland from Alt 19 with mature canopy and a mix of 1970s slabs and later asphalt overlays. Those surfaces heave at the oak flares and pond at the garage. PaverForge Hardscapes replaces them with an 80mm interlocking driveway graded to the existing swale, not to a hopeful centerline that fights the lot.
Oaks, shade, and stain
Canopy lots stain light pavers with tannin and irrigation overspray. We specify a mid-range color-through unit, not a pale surface coat, and we keep irrigation heads off the fresh polymeric joints for the first week. Where a live-oak flare sits under the old slab, we undercut only the non-structural plate and bridge the rest with geogrid rather than cutting a structural root.
HOA packets in this pocket usually want a color photo, a pattern sketch, and a note on edge restraint. We include those in the quote so the architectural review does not stall the start date.
Base and drainage
North Pinellas sands run clean until you hit a buried organic lens. We proof-roll every lift. Soft spots get an undercut and crushed-concrete replacement, not a thicker sand bed. Two-percent pitch is the target off the slab; the swale takes the rest.
