Paradise Island Neighborhood Driveways on Treasure Island
Paradise Island is the south-island neighborhood on Treasure Island, between the Gulf lots and the bay-side canals. Streets are tight, parking is a neighbor issue, and a pallet drop in the travel lane is not a plan. Salt air eats cheap edge restraint and any steel that was never meant to live outside.
Gulf side and canal side are different jobs
A Gulf-front walk has wind-blown sand, a dune or vegetation line you do not grade into, and a city or county setback that is not ours to move. A canal lot has a seawall, a dock approach, and splash that washes joint sand if the field is flat. We pitch away from the house and give water a real outfall.
Pool decks here need a slip-resistant texture, an isolation joint at the beam, and joints that will not dump polymeric haze into the skimmer. We sequence deck work around plaster and screen-cage trades instead of sanding joints the same afternoon the cage is washed.
Staging on a one-lane street
Materials stay on the private drive or on mats. We do not use the right-of-way as a yard. HOA color rules, where they exist, get locked before pallets are ordered so a blend is not argued after the field is half laid.
How to start
Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online. Photos of the street frontage, the low spot, and the pool or seawall edge are enough to start. We walk Paradise Island lots before we lock a number.
